two words. jb weld. it is a metallicised expoxy. it works great. i fixed the climate control in my jeep grand wagoneer with it. i thought it was going to be a temporary fix, but its been 2 years now. rough the surface of the back of the climate control up with coarse -40 grit- sndpaper and slap it on. it will stick to the plastic if its rough.
also, do not get it on your fingers. it has to wear off. use a pop can. break the opener off and use the dished bottom and the opener to stir it up. throw it away when you are done.
