Default brake pads

I am online ordering brake pads and rotors for my 89 crx right now and would like some help with a decision. Which brake pads should i get? AEM or Hawk or any other suggestion. This is for a street car but want maximum performance. thanks

If this is for a street driven crx that NEVERS sees an auto-x or a racetrack I would stick to a basic "street" pad. Do a search in the auto-x forum. There is lots of good info there. I have the Axxis pads on my 91 Si hb, they have worked well for me and they are pretty easy on rotors. I auto-x a few times a yr.

I have used the Axxis pads with excellent results. I mated those with some drilled rotors and they lasted way longer than I expected. I wasn't easy on them either.
