Well i got my sparco fighter seats, and we finally had a chance to put them in to see how they feel...

well we then put in my AUTO POWER 4. pt roll bar with harness bar also. we wanted to make sure it fit correctly and everything befire drilling and such....

well we got her in, with the doors open. we were very impressed how it looked/fit. UNTIL we tryed to shut the doors!!! the doors would not shut! the door panels hit the side of the bar leaving about 2 inches before the door even came close to closing!

its saturday, and autopower is closed, but they told me nothing would have to removed on the intside of the car for the bar to fit. has anyone ever ran into this problem in there 91 CRX si? how did you fix it?

Cut your door panel then. Simple solution.

 

i wouldnt cut my door panels . but if you do remove the door belts, the 88's will suposidly work. can anyone confirm this? i know it will clear the bar, but im not totally sure if it will fit the 91 door. they arent to bad either.

i was wrong about them when i was talking to youthis ones kinda beat up but you get the idea

 

i have a 91 crx and i use to have a autopower 4 point. the only issues i had was that it hit my door panels and i always had to shut my door hard
eventually, the door panel just shaped into the roll bar lol

 

From what I gather the rollbars were modeled around the 88 chassis (w/o door mount seat belts) and will clear, but they essentially fit into the newer year CRXs but hit the door panel. I did the same as 91b16acrx and just shut the door really hard, and now the doorpanel has the shape of the rollbar.

i wana get sparco fighter seats. how tall are you and how much you weigh. do you like how they feel. im 6'1 190 lbs i wanna make sure im gunna fit

 

i got a set of mint 89 panels. anyone looking for mint 91 crx si panels

anyways. im about 6' 155. my head is about 3 fingers away from the ceiling. when i get everything put in i will post some pics.
