I thought euro type-R was C6? Either way I don't think it could be a CTR motor cause it's b18X not a b16X but.. who knows?

i thought the B18C3 is the Spoon Type R motor.

Spoon made there own motor and put a 3 on there.

Thats what ive heard, not positive, but thats what Auto PLus in Daly City, CA said.

And They buy a lot of Spoon Products

b18c3 is NOT a spoon motor. it IS an R type R motor. However, I'm not sure about it being identical to the b16b, as they have different codes. BUT, the b16b is basically a destroked 1.8 liter. it doesnt' use a 1.6 block, but instead a 1.8 block, so they may very well be close to identical either way, at 2500 its a steal, bump

All the B18C's and the B18B use the P72 block. So basically you could take the internals out of a GSR and put them in a B16B block and it would be the exact same. The B18C3 isn't any special release or any manufacturer specific item, it's the block code for a block that was ordered as a factory replacement from a Honda dealership in Japan. So if someone threw a rod, they'd go to Honda and order another B18C block and they'd get an identical block with the B18C3 engine code. Other than bling, there's no difference. But note that they are a bit on the rare side.
