Default want a $11.87 Vacuum manifold?

sup guys , i happen to be chillin with one of my 5.0 friends when i noticed he had a vacuum manifold , he had just bought a bone stock fox body coupe . i asked him if it was factory , he said yes . so i went down to the ford dealership and bought one . out the door was 11.87 , not bad huh....... its not bolted to the firewall yet but it will , and will look pretty good. pretty low key , works well too , any questions let me know. sorry for the shitty pics.

Yep, I think there was a post about this previously. Great price, but doesn't look all that great. I'd use it, if I could find a place that wasn't visible to mount it.

this is Hella_JDM..... i know its not bling and **** ,and its not mounted either , but i was just posting to show that having a vac manifold isnt expensive , and i like the mcmaster one , but this was at the dealership and cheap , and effective...... cant beat 12 bucks , and once its mounted it will look ok.....

they sell them on most fords...so you could actually just roll out to a junk yard and snag one for free..or like a $1 or something

Are you kidding? That would be like having your ECU chrome plated or something...lol!

It's a piece of plastic for Christsake! I guess nobody else appreciates a part that functions as intended while being inconspicuous under the hood..

It obviously is inferior and won't work, because it doesn't cost $1000 like an AEM EMS. After all the other money you've spent, you need to put your vacuum manifold into perspective... do you really want to cheap out now, at the risk of your entire setup?

... **** ballas.

That's the general consensus, but I firmly maintain that I'm just this guy.

If you had enough cerebral power to truly understand the concept of his post.... you woudn't be saying that in such a sarcastic tone.

Ah, chill on the guy. I don't think he picked up on my sarcasm... what I said was word for word a mockery of something one of the ballas said in the H vs U thread a couple days ago.

The Ford vacuum manifold works fine, I wish overblownmotorsports.com was online right now because I have pictures of my CRX next to a twin turbo 5.0 to prove it. jz makes a good point about the Ford vacuum manifold not being the best route for plumbing a boost gauge, not that I'd sport service grade instrumentation in my car.

what i got from his post was....that this piece if plastic will not perform as well as GE's 80 dollar piece , give me a ******* break , its a vacuum manifold not fuel management , and it works 100% . skimping on engine management , and skimping on a vacuum manifold are entirely different . if you were being scarcastic than my bad.

i dont give a **** you dont like it dont post here i dont give a **** . i didnt even need a vacuum mani but i made the choice to try this one just for the hell of it.

thats actually a good feature , i ghettofied it by puting a small rubber hose on the nylon line and put 2 zip ties really tight on there , then put on the mani..... i had all my stuff teed off of a few sources and it worked good for me , i wasnt even in the market for a manifold and i just saw it and bought it.
