youll need the head, ecu, (or at very least a way to activeate vtec), usualy the z6 or y8 intake manifold is a good addition and you will also need the distributer from the vtec head in most cases.

I got the mini me swap. That is what you are talking about (non vtec block with a vtec head. you say you have a6 block, you need either z6 or y8 head. I would go with the y8 just cuz they are one of honda's strongest d series heads. Also the CR with a good honda headgasket will range but it could peek out at 11.2:1. Which you would need to only run 93 octane gas or else be faced with some detination problems. Also i used the dizzy off a HF...and slightly modified it, all d series header will work. used the intake manifold off a SI. Also alot of people make this mistake, if you are going to do the mini me swap, GET THE HEADGASKET FOR THE BLOCK NOT THE HEAD. Also please remember to remove the oil jet in the block!!

SO IF I PUT ON THE Z6 OR Y8 HEAD AND INTAKE . WILL THE WIRING PLUG IN OR WILL I HAVE TO REWIRE IT TO WORK? AND IF I RUN THE Z6 OR Y8 ECU WHICH
WIRE COMING OUT OF THE ECU WILL BE THE Vtec ENGAGEMENT WIRE ?? OR IS IT EASIER TO RUN OFF OF THE SHIFT LIGHT??

Man, mini me is a waste of time, just do the new swap, i just got it to work 2 days ago, its called super duper BaD swap (B and D series mate) yes, there is a way to put the B16 head on the D16 block, The most costly thing is alot of JB weld, But it runs like mad crazy, you get all that D series bottom end torque with the B series top end, you can easily rev it up to 9K, anything over that could possibly break the jb weld seal, then you have problems, if you want more info on this email me at ImFullofShit@yahoo.com -Ben
