hi i have a 1995 gsr and im so mad cause lots of things went wrong already... changed the clutch last year 2003, alarm malfucntioned, and now............i cant seem to start my car once in a awhile sometimes when it does start i feel it choking like its not getting gas........... ??? what is going on here oh and today when i popped the hood cause my car didnt start. i found a lil bit of oil on the left side of the head cover argggggggggggg i dont know what to do... can someone plz give me advice? are these problems normal or should i sell it?? the body is in great condition...but i hate getting stuck like today i cant get to work im so pissed....im thinking it might be the head gasket and if it is how much does that cost to repair?? is it easy to do? and how about when my car does start sometimes i feel it choking when excellerate............ plz help/

have u ever used fuel injector cleaner?

also, that oil to the left of ur valve cover is probably from the cam seal, it goes bad on all integras. register for http://www.team-integra.net (takes 5 seconds) and look up the article on how to replace it, it's 20 bucks to replace, completely natural. does it run fine once it's started?

 

is the check engine light on?, and u probably should check ur fuel filter and ur injectors to see if they are clogged at all. the rear cam plug problem happened to me so i just changed it and the valve cover gasket and stopped all my leaking problems

 

regular maintenance is key

 

put new plugs(not crap like bosch or autolite) wires, again not crap wires. and a new cap and rotor. That will prolly take care of it. and the starting prob, well that is another story, there is a lot of reasons your car wont start, you would need to diagnose that problem. When buying parts go to the dealer for the cap rotor and plugs. aftermarket stuff at schucks.kragens etc is CRAP.

 

does your car crank when you try to start it or does it take a while? There could be numerous reasons for your car not starting, I would honestly check everything out by myself and come back on here when you narrow things down
