I have heard that the flanges on the DC sport SS headers are NOT made from SS. Is this true? I did a search and cannot seem to find an answer. TIA.

yeah the DC flanges on their SS header are mild steel. get greddy if you can, much better unit.

 

damn, that sucks, I already ordered them. If the flanges are mild steel, doesn't that kind of make the rest of the header pointless to be stainless? Maybe I should have just gotten ceramic and saved the difference. Also, I don't think anyone else makes a header for the 03+ accord.

 

at least with the ceramic, they coat the welds too. so it looks like those guys who save a buck also get a better looking product in the end.

 

i think DC makes every single header with the same size primaries as well.
