Crx Fogs up like crazy when it rains, Any suggestions as to why?or what I can do??
All the windows fog up real bad I can barely see out of them, the only thing that I can think of is that my heat doesn't work and the difference in temparature is causing the fog up Let me know.
Also it does it even if its been sitting out all night I'll come out in the morning the whole god damn car is fogged up

theres a lil selector button on the climate controller. put it on exterior air and not on recirculated.

This works.
This works.
Tips that work:
- clean your windows
- wipe down your windows with shampoo, then wipe off
- use the air-conditioning; it works as a dehumidifier and will clear up any fog within seconds
- open your windows if you don't have A/C (or if you were dumb enough to remove it if you did)
- keep your selector set for fresh air, not recirculated air
- check your car for water leaks (particularly in the rear) and seal them up

You have Rain water coming into your car somewhere by the firewall , If you feel under the rug by the computer its probably wet . Water usually comes in between the right front fender and hood by the windshield (under the plastic cowl cover ) . I had to remove my entire dashboard and heater box to fix this problem . Good Luck
Deff found the water, in the back of the car around the tired. it seems to be leaking in around the right rear Hatch Strut. I can see it drip drip driping down. I have no idea how to fix that
ok here you go, the infamous crx problem, its prolly your sunroof take out your right or left side tail light cover, there should be a brown rubber drain hose thats prolly cloged. there are also drains in the front that come unconnected basically you just have to blow them out with an air compressor good luck
yea finally got the car running, Had to buy another motor though the one I got from you didn't work but the trans was nice So i got something out of it.
Also I DOn't have a Sunroof. I'll look for those drains but its like getting in someplace on the hatch cause I see it dripping in side from the right rear Strut that holds up the hatch. it drips right down onto the right rear speaker then just fills up the back
Anymore tips?

Take some interior trim out, sit in your car and have someone spray a hose all over it. Check for leaks.
Check your hatch seal to make sure the rubber isn't torn.
Use some sealant around the rear washer nozzle and under the trim in the "rain gutters" on the roof. According to many leaky CRX owners, these are a common source of leaks.

when it rains my spare tire well gets water in it, I think its from the taillight seals, check that.
It could be from the tail lights, but I actually SEE with my own eyes water dripping in right off the base of the Right Rear hatch strut. And it runs down the speaker into the rear compartment
I have myi right and left hatch strut doing that. If you figure out how to fix let me know. Come on guys give us an answer...also i have after market ones with screws in them if that helps solve the problem???
