Default whats causing car to leak from here???

where could the water most likely be coming from?
just wondering if someone else has has this same problem.
i thought the sunroof was the cause at first, but now i have a fiberglass filler and its sealed up tight.
my only guess is maybe the water is getting in through the roof mouldings.
???
location is a hole between sunroof and rear hatch right above both rear windows
here are some pics

Sometimes the drain tubes will get clogged and cause a leak. Make sure everything is clean.

I have heard of this happenign on crx's with no sun/moonroofs, which would mean they have no drain tubes, right?

I had a problem with water getting into my car that I thought was related to the moonroof, but it turned out to be a faulty seal around my windshield. I seriously doubt water would travel along the roof of your car and fall from that far back but you never know. There are really only three places (that I can think of): the drains on the moonroof, the windshield or possibly the hatch.

the sunroof is gone. so are the drain tubes. i originally thought all that was the cause of it, but i guess not.
the only place i think water may be getting in is the "roof mouldings" that run on the top of the roof on each side. or it might be coming from somewhere around the rear glass...maybe some seal back there or the area where the hatch bolts on to the car.

I turned the water hose on low and let it run over different areas on top of my car until I figured out it was the windshield. Maybe when its dry outside you could do the same to get a better idea of where the leak may be from. I know it sucks for water to get in. I used to literally pick up gallons of water with my wet/dry vac after heavy rains.

Try pulling the trim out of the two "rain gutter" seams on your roof, and using some sealant in there. I've heard of many people stopping leaks this way.

Do you have a rear wiper on your hatch? The nozzle that sprays the washer fluid can leak. Try pouring water around the nozzle and see if it leaks.

Based on the pictures and my own currently stripped rex, that'd be my best guess as to where the problem is coming from. There's no way to get at the nozzle from inside the car (as far as I know), so if that IS the cause, I'd suggest you pop the nozzle up and reseal it with some silicone.

i will have to try the area around the nozzle...this seems like it could be it.
thanks for the suggestions

my rear interior is complete striped and...

during winter my whole trunk was filled with water, when i hit the brakes it would rush up and wet up the back of my seat...

then i saw alot of water in the inside of the tail lights.

so i took them off and put some silicone sealent on the taillights and bolt holes. then it reduced the water tramendusly!

try that out! HTH

ok i put sealant on the rear winshield squirter...waiting for it to dry now.
i pulled off one of the rain gutters...for some reason i thought that it was a seal, but there was nothing to "seal". so water is not coming in from the rain gutters.
hopefully it was coming from the squirter.

Let us know if it works.
You just popped the nozzle up, then put sealant on it, right?

well i still have the leak. i used the water hose and just ran water over the squirter area and it took a few minutes but the water eventually started leaking in (but the water was also running down around the hatch too, so water maybe coming from hatch bolts).
maybe i didnt seal the squirter up well enough...so i just put more sealant around it. so i am waiting for that to dry.
and then i will test it again

i found the leak
it was right behind where the rain gutter stops and right in front of the rear hatch...in that valley that runs around the hatch
there was a big crack in the body.
i just put sealant on it and waiting for it to dry.
im pretty sure the was the cause.
thanks for the help everyone.
hope there are no more undiscovered cracks anywhere

a lot of times the water gets in by the rear hatch struts. mine used to fill up the spare tire well pretty good.
