Default What do you guys think of....

Gator back timing belts from auto zone.

I need a new timing belt like yesterday. And all the p[laces I know of are sold out of the greddy timing belts and I cant find a power enterprise anywhere. I really dont want togo with OEM because of my cams. Also I dont want to wait for the damn thing to ship to me. So I was thinking of going with the gator back and heard from some friends that they are good.

Oh yeah and Ihave the h23 manuel tensioner conversion with crower stage 2 cams on this motor so I need something to hold up to the tension!

Wasn't this just discussed? Get OEM Honda. Why would you save a couple of dollars for something so critical.

generally the same topic.

Gatorbacks are good but I don't think they are ant better then OEM. You can order Greddy and Power Enterprise online.

i would say get it now for current use and wait for oem for stock and then buy and change again.. might be a hassle but, it's an option.

Yeah do you guys think that the oem belt can handle the abuse from the cams? I usually see everyone using cams with a good belt like the power enterprise

I really doubt that a Gatorback would fail from an upgraded valvetrain.

I'm using a Gatorback on my H23 VTEC build, and I'm trusting it completely.

If you get one from Autozone, get the one for the 98+ Prelude.
