Default Anyone have pics of the Auto trans solenoids for a 94 MY? ...

The tranny has a D4 issue and from reading the archives it should be either a Solenoid or a Speed Sensor. I only have the Haynes manual to work wit for now, until I determine if the car is or isn't totaled, and then I will move on to the Helms or the Honda manual. I am doing this work out in the field, and I am under pressure to move the car.

So, is the car safe to drive with a D4 issue until I could do the work at my garage?

Anyway, if I need to do a field repair, my understanding is that the speed sensor is on the tranny near the drive axles, and the nut is a 10 mm like most of those sensors are.

I could use a far away pic and a close up pic to zero me on where the tranny solenoids are located.

Btw, any precautions when removing these parts for cleaning? ... Are there multiple attached pieces to keep an eye on or just simple single pieces to clean? Any torque's listed when reinstalling the SS or the Solenoids?

I have a feeling the former owners did not maintain this car well AND especially did not use Honda ATF. So, I am draining what is in and refilling with 2.5 Qts, correct?
