Default Finally finished my nitrous project

Took me a while to finally complete it. I've been working in between classes and ran into a couple problems on the way. Finished now. Here it is:

Custom trunk floor, hinged to still get spare tire out. JBL600.1 amplifier running to 12" Shiva subwoofer. Custom painted old style 10lb NOS tank.

Custom switching panel. Light goes green whenever I'm spraying. Far left is arm. Middle is bottle heater. Right is opener (but I may hook it up to something else). Push button is purge. Below is Alpine MP3 player.

New AEM fuel rail to polished NOS solenoids.

I've heard bad things about wet-shots... But I guess there is no tuning the fuel so it's probably worth it...

What size shot is it? And plz some before/after slips...

You do tune the fuel w/ the size jet you use..

You use a different size jet for the fuel, and different size jet for the nitrous...

Its the next best thing to direct port.

After a lot of debating, I'd rather get a RWD car if I'm going to boost. I'll sell the teg off in 2 years (although I think it'll get stolen in less than a year). Go buy something thats meant to go fast. RX7, Supra, MR2, whatever. Nitrous wasnt too expensive (got the kit used) and it'll make me quicker than pretty much anything my size that doesnt have a snail.

Right now I run mid 15s. I have jets for 52hp and 76hp. I wont run the 76 until I get a new clutch. Already tuned for 38psi of fuel.

I forget its been a while since i messed with nitrous stuff, but it looks at the angle your fogger is , it looks like the opening is facing the side of the intake pipe. if its correct i apologize, but just wanted to point that out in case. check your plugs regualary to see if you have dist probs. if so just put the fogger closer that should help. . . all in all it looks very good though. Best of luck and be safe. Nitrous is a blst. BTW get a bottle heater. you will thank me.

I tested out the fogger position before I put it in. It does sit kinda akward, but it'll hit the TB pretty much dead on.

Bottle heater is soon to come. Already have a switch for it as you can see.

Its funny how when its nitrous people think that your engine is going to blow but i never hear people saying "don't blow your engine" when somebody turbos their car.

It responds really well. I have been running 65-75 hp shots on mine for about 2.5 yrs now and still have good compression across the board. Just be sure to keep an eye on the plugs and I like to run 1 step colder NGK's in mine.

For this car in this thread I predict a 14.6ish run. I have a best of 14.4 with 65hp shot, the 75 shot was actually slower due to wheel spin and then some clutch slipping, which needs to be replaced real soon.

Got the purge installed. Sprays right by my drivers side wiper towards the top drivers side corner of the windsheild. Looks badass. Filled the bottle and tested out leaks, but I havent been able to spray because my plugs are here in San Antonio (installed purge in Houston). Got back and now its raining all week Anyways, sometimes when I purge it just hisses without any visible nitrous coming out. Is this because the temp in the bottle is the same temp as the ambient air?

object of purge valve is to release the air out of the lines then u see the nitrous and thats when u have all the air out... nitrous express recomends 3 1 second purges b4 a race
