i haven't removed the fans in my 96 integra before. i noticed a few bolts on top of the fan housing. any hidden bolts or clamps that i should know about? i want to make the removal as easy as possible.

Haha he better put em back in. You just remove the bolts on top, and then unplug the electrical connectors. The hardest part is getting the wire tie clips and stuff that hold the harnesses to the fan shrouds, especially on the A/C fan (driver side one). I had to get underneath the car to get a couple of them off. After you get everything unclipped and disconnected, just lift them straight up and out.
