Looking at both. Heard the JDMShit lip has decent fitment, but the Phase nine is a little cheaper. Looking for my '01 GSR.

IMO, I wouldnt deal w/Phasenine....they have bad customer service. But hey, just speaking of personal experience. BTW....what lip are you inquiring about anyway?

Yeah, thats sweet. 150 is a great price for the comptech piece. But the 50 in shipping makes it a little high. At least compared to the Phase Nine at $85 shipped, or the JDMShit lip is like 110 shipped.

 

my friend just got his carbon fiber hood from phasnine the other day. it got here quickly but what can you say when they are local.

Hey, just got my VIS c-f hood from phasenine.com, the customer service and shipping time was great. As a new business it is doing very well for itself. There maybe couple of people that has had bad service, but you gotta remember there is also many people that had geat service. Like every business it has its odds and ends, but through my personal experience, they are great, talk to Casey hes the owner and he pretty much handles most of the issues if you have any. Total amount for my with shipping and taxes was 450. It doesn not have it posted on their site yet, but they do offer VIS and Seibon parts. He also deals with Island Motorsports. They are also standup guys.

Are you saying that someone other than Phase Nine listed that GB in their name? I think you have to be a registered vendor on the GBC.com to list a GB, so I think Phase Nine actually listed it.

As far as urethane for $65 goes...I don't know what thats about.

Urethane is by far the best choice for lips. They are durable and flexible, ABS plastic is very hard plastic but not nearly as durable as urethane. Fiberglass...forget about it. The guy is doubting the price because urethane is suppose to be more expensive then ABS plastic and the price is little too good to be true. If anyone have more info please respond here becuase if the urethane from phasenine is truly 69 plus shipping i'm IN!!!

I bought my ITR front lip and my seibon CF hood from Casey at phasenine and I have nothing but compliments.

 

I just emailed casey and is waiting for his confirmation in whether this group buy is indeed theirs. Also it says the 98-01 ITR STYLE lip is made from URETHANE? Anyone can confirm this? I thought they made them in ABS plastic??? ANYONE!!?

by any chance u'll be interested in a comptech urethane lip? there's a gb deal on comptech lip and it's $149 + $55 shipping = $204 each, but hopefully the guy can combines mulpiple lips in one box so we can split the shippin price..and btw im from san jose too.

well i dont know what you are asking but if you are talking about the OEM itr lip then yes it is ABS plastic. i do not know about the phasenine lips though. but my OEM lip is a deffinently ABS plastic

 

damn WTF......2 week backorder for civic front lips from phase nine? i ordered this a week ago and emailed them and go no replies or updates. Worst of all.....they have a group buy set up on groupbuycenter.com now? wtf kinda shop is that?

Wow...that does sound too good to be true. I'm thinking it's probably ABS plastic, not urethane.

 

For the record, OEM type-r lips are made of urethane from the factory. If your content that your lip is abs plastic then it is a replica and not the oem one from acura. Just helping out.

 

i was told that these are urethane lips not polyurethane... "what?, there's a diffrence?" apparently so, there's a thread on team-integra.net about it. kinda makes sense, but i dont know the diffrence between urethane and polyurethane besides the strength...
