Will a d16a1 dohc head work on a d16a6 block?

dohc and sohc do not intertwine.

well theyre both d series motors and run off the same ecu use the same tranny and it says its a direct bolt in?

no they will not work. This subject gets asked about every three months. Do a damn search and you will find your answers.
