Valve Adjustment Questions? Need Help?
1) when removing the valve cover, how in the hell do you get the hose off that comes from the air intake rubber piping to valve cover? I removed the spring clamp but couldn't get the rubber hose off. any tips?
2) does anyone here use liquid gasket on the rubber seal when reinstalling valve cover? Helms says to use it. Is it necessary?
3) How critical is it that the cam gears turn exactly 90 degrees for each cylinder? For the first and fourth cylinders there are marks on the teeth, but for the third and second all there is to go by is that the arrows are pointing to the exhaust or intake side. Is it okay if it is off by a couple of degrees?
