Default 90 teg b18a1 into 91 dx hb

i heard if you have an si this is a plug and play being that i dont have a si what are my options. i know about doing dpfi to mpfi but dizzy plugs are different along with many others. i have complete engine harness on b18. would i be better off finding an si harness and ditching my dx harness, i'm guessing this is possible? 200 dollars for hasport harness seems high and i just canmt rip my harness out to ship to them.

never start with another harness, always change the stock harness. its really not that hard to do the dpfi to mpfi, too me about 3 hours. since you have the harness from the b18 then u got all the plug, why you worried about the dx dist plug, when you said you have the b18 wiring harness.

honestly, if you are worried about how your dx dist plug wont fit to the b18 dist plug, when you got the b18 harness sitting right on the engine, and its plainly clear to jsut take the b18 dist plug and put your dx dist wire in the b18 plug, then i dont think you should be doing the dpfi to mpfi. not to sound liek an *** but it doesnt sound like you got the skill to do this. it would be better to have a shop do it or have soemone else help you who has done this before

I'M 32 YEARS OLD and have been installing stereos for aliving for 13 years. i know wiring and how to do it right. just dont want to hook wires at dizzy that look the same as stock and end up screwing something up. the wires to dpfi to mpfi are no problem because ive seen enough articles to figure out. but all the articles were for b16a's not b18a.

the wiring is the same, for example you could stick a b18 ecu with a b16 engine and it would work, vice versa with a b16 ecu and b18 engine. so the wiring is the same.

by them telling you how to wire a b16 in, they cover how to wire a b18a and also a b16. only difference is vtec in the b16.

so just follow the direction but u dont need to wire for vtec, simple
