I went to best buy to inquire about my upcoming HD tv. and i wondered over to the car audio where i purchased a pioneer in-dash dvd/cd am/fm with a 7" LCD...

but i did get it for around 1500$ when regular price was over 2200$

to be precise i work at time warners headend (charlottes main Switch) I'm a systems analyst. I don't make as much as you think, but with my wifes' 3K and my 5K, i'm doing okay...

The frontend was basically paid for by the insurance company though.
the turbo was basically paid for by selling my supercharger.
my radio was basically paid for because of the insane discount i got since my bro works there, couldn't resist.
and the HDTV is going to be a christmas present from my parents.

So in other words, i don't have alot of loot, about a grand a month goes into my 401 k, so when i am 65, i will have alot few million.

not to mention, i don't have kids, or a house, i live in an apartment, that cost as much as a nice mortgage, so the kid thing i think helps alot, but soon i may have one of those (ohh lord), thats why i'm selling my wifes SI in Jan. cuz she wants a MDX or a manual IS300, when she comes back into country.....(trying to get the IS, but she's thinking of a family, so i probably won't get my way..)

 

AHHHH HAA~! it's all becoming clear to me now..wife away, home alone, no one looking over your shoulders!!

I spent over a $1000 on a system last month, and I took it out this week. I weighed my car and it added around 100 pounds, so I was losing HP. It was a hassle to take out to go to the track, plus I really didn't think it sounded great.
Make sure the deck is in really good. My deck flew out on my first run at the strip, not good for the deck or time slips.

 

i'm sure it will be installed properly, but who knows, as far as the sound system goes, i'm not going to get one, just switch out my deck, factories with some better ones, and a small 4channel amp......

home alone isn't all that great, its going to be along boring 18 months

I live about 25 min from there. I will be in Charlotte Tues for a concert with some friends, one of them also drives an R.

there are too what i've seen in the south east charlotte area..

There is 1 yellow kid is in highschool, parks on the highschool on park rd.
there is another yellow i seen, 17's dark tint,
there is a black one chick (she's selling)
then i seen a asian guy in a black on in south charlotte
then i seen a yellow one alot around fairview/colony area.
Really haven't seen any white ones but i know they are around.

I'm going to guess and say there are 10-15 Type R's in the charlotte city limits....
