"The H-Brace stabilizes the frame by supporting the chassis. The Brace provides high speed cornering stability with minimal chassis flex. Developed from Japanese technology."

The key words here *may* very well be "developed from Japanese technology," AKA JDM BLING yO!

Although, doesn't the s2000 incorporate something along these lines from the factory?

it lightens the drivers wallet while at the same time increases the front weight bias.

I knew you were going to tell me that!! I don't know what class it would put me in if they found out but I know that they haven't picked up on it yet. Besides, I am way back in the pack and I'm not too worried about it!

I have had this on my car for years now. Works wonders. Really did stiffen up the front end. For $40 it's worth a try(that's what I paid anyways).

The DC2 chassis takes a beating with my springrates and shock settings. I picked up one of these from IPS Racing (MSM Tuning bar for about $55) and the difference is night and day. Totally offers better response.

If you're looking at chassis bars, the front upper, lower (this "H" bar), and rear lower are really the only ones that make a difference on your typical 199x chassis.

As an aside, I took a sawzall to the rear cross bar since it touched my header.

The bar also functions as a great shield...I nailed a chunk of steel on the DC beltway and it put a good-sized dent in the bar, but protected the header/cat/exhaust ...it doesn't hang much lower than the rest of the car...maybe an inch or so.

It's good to know that someone else has this brace and likes it too! What class do you run in now?

I have a Cusco front lower tie bar - the H brace is essentially the cusco unit w/ the rear bars welded on. What it does is decrease understeer and increase turn-in - it makes a huge difference! Installation of my Cusco unit cut 99% of any torque steer caused by my Quaife, and instead of understeering in corners, all I have to do is floor it, keep cranking the steering wheel and it lets the lsd keep pullling me around instead of plowing off track straight ahead

best bang for the buck mod I've done yet
