Winter tires.

Use high-performance tires during the warmer months, when all-season tires don't stick as well.

Use winter tires during the winter months, when all-season tires don't stick as well.

Keep in mind that these tires are made with different operating temperatures in mind. Winter tires aren't just better when it snows. They also are better when the temperatures are frigid - and they're better than all-season tires then, too.

All-season tires are a compromise tire for people who don't want to change tires twice a year. For many cars, that's fine. But they will compromise the performance of a sports car, compared to high-performance (summer) tires, and that's why you're better off using two different sets for different purposes.

My friend with an S2k drove it thro a winter with the stock Pontenzas on it.. I dont see how he even got it moving.. I remember how bad my teg was with the stock Michelins..

Put some money into it and buy Good snow tires AND seperate steel rims.. that way you dont have to get the mounted every season and back. Plus your friend will be less likely to **** up one of those nice rims...

I recommend Blizzaks from Bridgestone.
