Default car died today(electric maybe?)

car died today.. looks to be the coil but ive had coil problems before and the car didnt sound like it does now.. ok

died while driving the usual bog sound
check the spark none
but it sounds like its whining when i try to start it (starter whining sound)
does turn over but with that sound
pulled the cap lil bit of shavings inside didnt look to bad
coil looks alright but no spark

before i go and spend money i dont have ide like a second opinion thanks

are you running an external coil or what...we need more specifics to better help you. I am assuming that the coil is internal...check the ignitor as well...sometimes they go out which can result in no spark from the coil...

i checked the coil .. it doest look bad but im hopeing thats what it is .. but its just making a werid sound when i try to start it .. the sound almost sounds like just the wine of the starter.. could it sound like that if there was no spark at all?? i guess it could??
