Noobie needs advice on launching GSR
Ok im heading back to the track sat. night. This will be my second time only and the first my all stock gsr ran a shitty 10.7(1/8mile) I need some help. I know this time im going to lower my tire pressure to 20lbs and mabey burn out in second for a few secs. What rpm should i drop at and how high should I run through each gear. If anyone has ANY good advice for a total drag noob then please post because I felt last time that mabey if I shifted differently I could have shaved some time. THanKs...

WOW 10.7 1/4 MILE I THINK THAT WAS A TYPEO ANYWAYS IF YOU ARE ON STREET TIRES DONT BOTHER BURNIN THEM ITS WORSE THEN NOT. IF YOU ARE ON STREET SLICKS OR SLICKS THEN BURN OUT IN 2ND GEAR. THE REASON FOR THIS IS YOU GET THE TIRES SPINNING FASTER THAN 1ST. ALSO ON A STOCK GSR I PERSONALLY WOULD SHIFT AT 7900.. LAUNCH MAYBE AROUND 3500-4000 AND FEATHER THE GAS UNTILL IT HOOKS

Pretty much bone stock as far as the motor is concerned.
I've got WS cat back, a really shitty Megan Racing header that is probably robbing me of power(only got it because my stock header was bent up pretty bad and this was $50
), short ram intake, and ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate w/ Street Disc.
