Check it out...I got my T1R exhaust in today...I ordered the complete exhaust (test pipe , b pipe and exhaust) there was a mix up in the order, which really makes me upset, and I only got the rear section. For those out there running the axle back exhaust...what do you think about?

That's no good.

Anyways, install it if it fits the stock axle back. You won't get power but you'll have sound if that is what you want.

 

Damn, that sucks. You must be anxious!! I would just hold off and wait for the b-pipe and test pipe.. Sucks..

 

I orginally ordered this exhaust through RandDMotorsports, paid $735 for it and I get it in the mail today and it is only the rear section. So I called Aj-Racing Myself to see what the status was, maybe it was shipped in two seperate boxes, but it wasn't it was just not available until then. Not to happy with RandD and I will most likely not do business with them again...You would think they would hook me up with like a free 4.7 final drive set or something since I am waiting over 2 months to get an exhaust that they said they had.

 

I am in the same boat.

 

Why did you not contact R&D first?

 

whoa damn, I was just thinking about ordering the full catback from RandD pretty soon actually, not after hearing all this though

 

Is it just me or has there been a lot of problems with the T1R exhaust line?

i would think about getting a custom b-pipe and test pipe and forget the wait.

Cancel the order and get yourself a 2.5" custom b-pipe from http://www.kteller.com . You will probably recieve it in a week.

I contacted AJ-Racing 1st they didn't have the full exhaust. So I contacted ISP Racing then RandD. RandD is the only shop that I could find it complete so I thought. If I knew that RandD was supplied by AJ Racing I would not have gotten it from them either...I would have gotten a JIC Bullet Exhaust. It pisses me off because I ordered this exhaust March 17 and it may not get installed until June. I will look into getting a custom B Pipe.

i waited three months for a spoon exhaust that R & D said they could get to me in a week. Actually, i wanted three months to cancel my order...i could still be waiting for that exhuast i ordered last year!

Huh, I ordered the same exhaust from Dave in February and I did not receive anything yet......

 

huh.... what you are going through is nothing!!! compared to what i went through with R and D. i dont even want to revist it...their prices are not great and their service is less then desirable. i would just rather stay away from them. they say they have the product or will be gettign it soon, but this is a total departure of the truth. anyway good luck.
im still fighting with AJ for a replacement for my T1R exhaust that never fit right from day one. my rear bumper cap is burned cos it sits at an angle, my rear LCA is rubbed down and there are all sorts of other fitment issues with this exhaust. but i must say it looks great, sounds great (albet a little loud) and makes great power, thats why i am staying with this exhaust and hoping AJ will send my replacemnt to me...so far its been almost a year now. again good luck!!

 

I wish that I would have known this shop was this bad...My first time doing business with them...and looks like my last

Wish I could say the same...but the fact is when I ordered it an paid them for it...I was told that they had it...that is the only reason that I ordered from them...now they tell me that I have to wait another month and a half to get the rest...If you run a shop you should know what you have...and if that company is having it sent from someplace else...the right thing would have been to call and make sure before the purchase is made...Kind of like making promises you can't keep. So for that RandD
