Default screwed up JL crossover

my driver side crossover got fucked up. i installed it in the door and i think due the the openning and closing of the door so frequently, the vibration popped off one of the coils that made up the crossover. as a result, that side turns on and off. tried resoldering the part that got disconnected and still doing the same thing.

the fix! run woofers straight into amp and run tweeters through crossover. dunno why this works, but i m sure its only temporary.

Well, it's not that it won't work. You can run a 20hz signal to your tweeters if your high pass craps out....that doesn't mean it will sound right. However, if you like the way it sounds now, keep it that way, and save the money...
