what kind of intake, header, and exhaust do you have? I wouldnt go any further with mods unless your i/h/e were decent quality and would not hold back other modifications.
on the other hand, if you are new to the car, you should find some local tracks(road courses) in your area (LIME ROCK) and take the car there in its current form. I think you will find it is plenty fast and you might learn a few things. Also look into some autox events. If you are close to the NYC area, there are events all over the place.
Many of us in the R forum like to track our cars(road course mostly, not as many drag racers) so you will tend to find road racing is favored over other types of racing. Most of us dont mess around and try to do things right the first time.

Your existing mods are decent, dont let people tell you otherwise. They are all effective in their purpose at a reasonable price.
As far as driver education goes, it's never a bad idea. But don't let people on here sugarcoat the reality of what track driving really is. Anything beyond HPDE, can be a very risky propositon if your R is your only means of transportation. Remember that if you total your car on track, the track is not liable, and neither is your insurance company. Auto insurance will not pay for damage as a result of any sort of track driving.
A very wise man once told me..."Don't road race anything you can't afford to roll off of a cliff." Just keep that in mind, when the road race ***** attack you verbally for using your car for anything other than "it's sole purpose"

Thats good advice but i and prolly most people can only afford 1 car at a time so we take chances. I'm very interested in these track sessions to see what i could learn about my car cause right now i feel like a professional already(i know u all did too)

Not completely true, it depends on what state you are in, Your Insurance company, and what it says in your Insurance policy.
Most Insurance policies under Comprehensive will mention that If Racing or in a Speed event the car will not be covered, however an HPDE is Driver Education and can fall into the coverage. Also with some companies you can purchase extra insurance for such events if it is excluded by your regular coverage.
99% of people Never read their Insurance Policy and I'm sure they would all be suprised at some of the stuff that is and isn't covered.
I know I was suprised when I found out I could claim the Hole in my seat from where my dog bit it.

There are a few of us in the NYC area who go to track events regularly (our group is called R-speed). About 10 times a year. The next event is Beaver Run with Midwest NASA. Goto http://www.racenasa.com or http://www.nasaracing.net for info. If you want more info send me an IM.
Why not try an Autocross; NASA-X, or CART or FFCSCC, or a few just for fun and kicks before putting so much at risk on the track. Autocrosses are especially good to learn and hone car control skills before driving on an open track at high rates of speed.
But, just so you know, Since autocrosses are timed competitions, they will more than likely void your insurance coverage, but are at lower speeds and safer as such.
Do yourself a big favor as Mike mentioned and check out your entire policy before you get involved in any type of amateur/grassroot's motorsport. Better to know the consequences before you wad the car into turn # whatever then have to worry how you're gonna deal with the loan or payment or whatever afterwards.
I'm also a big supporter of DE's or track Days. Check out NASA NE in my sig and follow the links to Events.
Limerock Park is a Great course to bust your cherry on.
And yet, still a challenge to master.
You must decide what is right and safe for you.
Best of luck.
R-Speed is here if and when you are ready.

You can't do worse than me... Oh, I guess you could. It would be fun though, you should.
I on the other hand feel faster, more fluid on a road course.
