autometer water temp install question.
Alright I am looking to install an autometer water temp gauge on my integra.
I have heard that it will not work if you just try and splice into the coolant temperature sensor wire that contols the temp gauge in the cluster.
My question is could I just use a T-fitting off of the head and connect the stock sensor for the cluster and the aftermarket one from autometer to it? Will that work?
What size T should I look for? and what kind of thread does it have on the stock temp sensor?
