koni adjustables struts
ok i am going tomy first autox event this sunday. My problem/question is that I have the Koni yellow adjustables but while i was adjusting my front drivers side i snapped the lil nipple adjuster thing. So now my front drivers side strut is at its lowest setting while the other 3 are at its stiffest. I have been driving areound for a while like that so i am pretty much use to the fact that i can take left hand turns alot harder and faster then wheni turn right. But should i just adjust all the rest of my struts to its softest settings. Or should i just adjust the front passangers and leave teh rears alone. This is my first event so its not like i am going to be going full throttle. exspecially since i am gonna be in a higher class and not really now what i am doing. sorry about the long post

If I were you, I would follow tnord's advice, but if I were you and it was an hour before I had to get to the event, I would take a turn out of the rears and knock the front that isn't sticking down to the same setting as the one that is. You want the car to be consistent or you won't learn anything.
Like Tnord said, fix it.
If you can't fix it before your autocross I would leave both fronts full soft and the rears half way to full stiff.
Just out of curiosity, how did you brake the metal tab off?

ya but i have about 2 days, and no money for a new one. so i just basically wanted to know should i drop the rest down to the softest setting, just adjust the other front onw down to the softest setting, or just leave the rest all at its stiffest setting?
Who said get a new one? Check to see if there is a Koni service shop in your area and have them fix it. They might need to order the parts which would take a few days but should be a lot cheaper then buying a new one.

Just put the other front one to the same setting as the broken one and set the rears to anywhere from full soft to half way firm to give it a little more neutral handling. Is that what you wanted to hear? Then take the broken one off the car and take it someplace that could probably fix it.
