Well the insurance company wrote me a check for the damges done to my car, basically it will cover the JDM frontend (HID) but not labor cost. Can people with JDM frontends tell me what they payed for the labor done and if the shop did a flawless job.

 

man I 've heard of quotes from guys on this board saying a couple grand. that **** isn't cheap and you get what you pay for know what i mean?

 

i dont know about a couple grand, i work for a performance shop and we do installs like that. I think max we charge is 1200 and thats only if we have to do alot of cutting and welding, if most of it bolts on and only holes have to be drilled it shouldnt even be over a grand

 

I think when you figure in painting the hood, fenders, and front bumper (possibly the radiator support as well) it comes out pretty high, I know mine wasn't the cheapest install.

plus the radiator support has to be welded on.
