Im comming home soon been stuck in Afghanistan for the last ten months, and looking for a new car probably a 00' I know this is a honda web site but please give me some pointers and sugestions on why i should by a Honda or Toyota I know the Solara comes stick and honda doesnt, which car is easier to put mods on wasnt thinking of doing to much maybe some bolt ons and suspension thats about it any help would be great

 

Their both reliable cars w/ some performance potential. For the solara u've got the whole trd catalog to pick parts from including a supercharger. Accord v6 also has some parts, i know comptech makes some bolt-ons and i think also a supercharger. Its really up to what u like, if ur looking for a comfortable car that has a little performance potenital and not a track monster then u cant go wrong w/ either. Hope that made sense

 

I personally think the AV6 looks way better than the Solara. They both have just about the same potential but ive started to see some crazy AV6's. Not many have swapped the Acura 6 speeds into the Accords but it is possible. Id say stop by at http://www.V6performance.net They have some nice Accord V6's there.

 

honda accord,i know u said u were lookin for a 00 or so but the new v6 accord comes 6 speed!!!! so nice and quick off the showroom floor!!! there are many parts for both to bolt on but as a honda person /driver and owner of many.... im leaning toward the accord plus the actual engines that r in them are only getting betgoodluck!!!ter and smarter!!!
