Just got my h22 in my hatch running but the ugly rap always had me worrying. I thought that it was just my motor but I checked a friends newer model prelude and he had the same ugly rap. Whats up with it? Is it to protect the wires from the heat? Is there anyother way to make this look any better? Thanks alot...........

are you talking about the cables that come out of the alternator? bcuz those arent even near the dizzy. but everybody has it and i think its just there to hold it in place and keep h2o from getting inside...

Ha ha I know what he is taliking about. Coming off the right side of the valve cover there is usually tape wrapped around the wire right above the dizzy.

I did not know that it was raped! Aww that poor sexually misguided person who raped my alternator! Oh, why would I need to "Rerape" it? Especially if it "looks ugly as ****?" Hasn't the poor alternator suffered enough? lol

if your talking about the wires that goto the alt. i covered them in heat tape. i did this to protect them from my turbo, but it does add the polished bling bling look

you can either take the green tape off and re-wrap it with elec tape or just re-wrap it over the exisiting tape.
