Default Component Survey

Just a quick question for you audio buffs, diamond audio hex s600 vs. alpine TypeR components, i can get the the diamond audio for 180, and the alpines for about 30 cheaper. both in excellent to new condition. any input would be appreciated. thanks guys

Diamonds, especially if using an amp, and if not I recommend it...they sound so much better with sufficient power.

could it be more spl, way more sq, and a price that's under half of retail??

I have not heard the Alpines, but I used to own the S600s - very nice component set, just give them some power - loud and clear set.

DIAMONDS, i used to have a set myself, they sound very nice, it sounded even better when i gave them 200 watts to each side .

i just put some alpine type r components in my car i think they sound pretty nice and clear.

diamonds will take more power and sound better overall.
succdeez has now purchased my component set as a result of this wonderful survey.

as you can see from the results/replies, it was a close battle (sarcasm)

but the diamonds came out on top, edging the alpines 992384902384 to 1
