I was thinking of going OBD1 for a couple of reasons. 1. My boy has the conversion harness. 2. I have a lil race care that Im building up with a D16/Y8 and everyone says to go OBD1 to run a better ECU. 3. I have a B16 and heard its good to run a OBD1 ECU for a better fuel map.

Also, I tried to run my Y8 setup with my PR3 ECU from my ECU and it threw an engine light. Didnt leave the car on long enough to see what code but I thought I would be able to run that ECU?

Any kinds of answers would be great and sorry for so many questions in one post!

its nice, i did it for my z6 minime, and it helped alot, so, i say go for it, lots of tuning options, but there are also more now for obd0 that there didnt used to be, sooooo, its up to you. I guess for the b16a, you can get rid fo teh crappy obd0 dizzy, that seems to always go bad, but i dunno, its up to you.
