anyone ever done a B20 in a 2ng gen?

how easy was it?

as far as i know, all you do is take your intake manifold (and everything on it inc. injectors) and your distributor and put it on the b20. After that it's just a straight drop. There might be a few sensors here and there that you need to transfer but that would be easier to spot once the engine is out.

 

Are b20s obd1 or 2? Does that even matter? HOw much did u get a b20 for? Are u putting the 1.8 head or not? Thanks

 

The USDM b20b/z is obd 2. I don't know about the jdm ones though. Am dropping in a straight b20 and the head of the b18a/b is identical if not exactly the same as the b20 so there's no point using the old head. If you're talking vtec head, i would leave the motor alnoe for now .
