Default H&R Sport springs ( type r specific) now can be found for only $149

Not sure if this is new or old news, but I was browsing around and saw that most people were buying them for 225. Now theyre at 150. Not a bad deal for people low on funds and looking for a good spring. Not trying to advertise or sell anything, just want everyone to know! Thanks

ahem, crveverything has em for cheaper than both those prices. Now as far as handling goes, will I lose any performance? I auto-x alot and so I want my suspension in tip top shape.

can you run the H&R springs w/ stock ITR shocks? how much of a compromise would it have on the longetivity of stock shocks? HOws the handling with this setup?

An adjustable, shortened shock would be much better capable of coping with the higher spring rates....it would ride better and retain a stock range of shock travel. This would be more critical were they H&R Race springs, but nevertheless a good adjustable shock (Koni yellows, anyone?) would be better than stock shocks with the use of lowering springs.

H&R Sport springs are *almost* too low. If it weren't for the fact that I'm a college student, single, and have no need for practicality, these would be too low to drive with daily. As it is now my mudflaps rub over everything, and my carsound cat will occassionally rub stuff as well. The front wheels are almost tucked also, on a 205-50-15 tire (i can fit like 1 finger in), so the drop is def more than what is advertised. Also, the F/R drop is different, the rear is not as low as the front.

But hell, I like em.

$5 says that the stock ITR springs/shocks would turn better laptimes then a set of those H&Rs on the stock shocks.

what is the difference between the ITR specific H&R Sports and the H&R Sports for say a GSR? just the rates? i cant imagine it would lower it anymore than it would a GSR...because i have Neuspeed Sports which lower the same amount as H&R Sports and they are pretty low, i wouldnt go any lower than what i am now which is about 2" up front...1 finger gap with my 205/50/15 AVS Intermediates...2 finger gap in the rear
