Default Bumpstops

Hey guys, i was wondering what will happen if i cut an inch or inch and a half off of my bumpstops...Will it lower the car any more, and will it harm the shocks? PS:im lowerd a little on H&R sports...just want about another half inch or inch...

bump stops don't have any thing to do with ride height (unless your a super gangsta lowrida). The name kind of tells you that they are there for the shock to 'bump' into as its travel 'stops' at the end of the stroke. For best results follow the spring manufactures recommendations on how much, if any, to trim them. Generally you want to leave at least the upper half of the stop intact.
