are itr rods the same as gsr rods

haha, a 91 integra type R??? that must be a typo... the link says 97, so i assume it is. that doesn't look like a DA engine bay either.

itr rods are not forged. and about that "squish area" in the combustion chamber...i thought honda cylinder heads were a pent roof design, in which case, they wouldn't have a squish area. i could very well be wrong on this one tho. if i'm wrong, they would be a polyspherical design, correct? and if that were the case, they would have a squish area.

USDM ITR pistons:


i don't see a quench area. if the head were to have a quench area, the piston head would have to be designed so that the part of the head under the quench area would be flat, would it not? am i wrong? can someone with engine building experience or genuine knowledge confirm or unconfirm this?
