Default Anyone take off their A/C belt?

Has anyone here who has an equipped teg with A/C removed their belt??
does it make a difference in the car regarding if it picks up quicker when you push
the gas.

what other advantages does the car offer by removing the dreaded belt?

Thanks!

umm......

you wont gain anything from removing the AC belt especially since you dont use your AC. the belt just free spins on the bearing inside the compressor. there is no drag on that. only when the compressor is engaged is there a noticable power loss....plus it's a real pain in the *** to remove the belt because it loops around a engine mount.............

it gets damn hot too! not too much power increase- but there is a difference/ nothing you will feel though.
