Nascar and drag racing?
In 1960, NASCAR founder Bill France got together with NHRA founder Wally Parks to hold a drag race in conjunction with the Datyona 500. They called in the "Winternationals". (The following year NHRA took the "Winternationals" to Pomona where it's been ever since.)
In 1965 NASCAR again tried drag racing, when they held the "NASCAR Nationals" at Dragway 42 in Ohio. It was successful enough that they ran a championship drag racing series in 1966 and 1967, but then disappeared from drag racing. NHRA, AHRA and IHRA were too strong, and I guess Bill France figured he would stick to what he knew best. (Think he made the right decision? lol !)
Anyway, that's the Reader's Digest version.

Interesting. He ran the car at Indy a few times and quit racing in 1964, so that sticker must have been from 1960. Fits with the other stickers too. Thanks.
