Default Trade in Gen 2 + cash for a Gen 3...?

was lookin in the paper, and saw a 95' integra ls for $5,950. i could prolly talk him down a lil more. dont know the mileage. i've only had my gen 2 for about a year and realized there isn't much for it compared to as the newer integras. so should i do it guys? yes or no.

o yah. i got a stock 90' integra GS which is obd0 with 162K, hmmm decisions...

There is plenty for the 2nd Gen. Almost everything that works on a 3rd gen works on a 2nd. The only real aftermarket difference is that there are more body kits and high level suspension options for the 3rd gen. Plus the G2 is lighter, and looks better.

If you're thinking of getting rid of the G2 for a 3rd gen Integra I'd say do it.. I doesnt look like you like the G2 that much to hold on to it.. I personally prefer the 2nd gen styling over the 3rd gen but thats just me.. plus everyone and their mother has a g3... just something to think about.. there are plenty of options for a g2 integra.. check out g2ic.com

I'd keep the gen2, but I also wouldn't wish a good second gen teg on someone who didn't really want it.

Opinion Alert!!!

If it were me, i'd trade in the gen2, and get a gen3. DA's are nice, but they just look too dated to me, and I always liked the curves of a gen3, which is why I bought one. a lot of people don't like the lights, but a JDM conversion is available to those people. as far as performance, stock for stock a gen3 ls is quicker than a gen2 ls, but they are almost the same engine. the interior in gen3's are nicer IMO too, but I still have love for my old gen2, but I love my gen3

in conclusion, it boils down to what YOU want, take both for a spin and sit down and really ask yourself which one you like best.

I think you should drive the Gen3 and then think about it. I personally think that that price is way too high as I've seen quite a few GSR's of the same year go for less than that. But you really need to decide for yourself which one will better suit you.

LOL they aren't rare.. its still a honda production car.. but some people like that style more than the newer cars available.. its just a matter of taste nothing special about them if you dont appreciate it..

wow a close race between the 2. i just decided that im gonna test drive the car since i never drove a gen 3. and see if i can lower the price and talk him down a bit. if this cars laggin then i might keep mine and just buy the work rims .

the only reason i considered the gen 3 was those nice pictures of the jdm conversions i saw in the other post. *droooool*

keep the gen2 because of obd0(less emission to deal with) or save your money and swap the b18c engine from the gen3, I personally hate the 4-eye look of the gen3. also yeah everybody and their moms have a gen 3.

slightly, considering gen2 teg were only made 90-93 only. where gen3 tegs are made from 94-01. there's a hell of alot of gen3 compared to gen2 tegs. besides, the body style of the gen2 is way better then the gen3 imho.
