Default Good set up for SCCA

Im new on Honda-tech and im looking to get a cheap Honda HB for SCCA. I just wondered what type of suspension mods would be cheap and efficient, and good. Does anyone have any suggestions for springs and shocks? Also, what would be a good and reliable engine swap that would be relatively cheap?

https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=19 for the specifics. Try to buy a virgin unmodified car. Some classes alow for very few mods.

The suspension i am running on my 88 CRX si is koni reds with eibach prokit. It was decently priced and I think was the best choice for me. I will be auto crossing in a few weeks and can only tell you that i like it so far for the daily driver.

As for the engine swap I am personally going to get used to my car stock for now.

hope this helps......

make sure what class you'll be stepping into before doing any suspension. you should also probably ask this question in the Road/Race forum
