Default connecting rods

BAH!
I've tried searching, but I can't find anything. Connecting rods from a D16A1 will work in a D16Z6 and are beefier upgrade, right?

what about pistons aswell? I know there are ghetto upgrades for the SOHC VTEC from other stock d-series applications, but I don't know what they are right now.

I know the LS rods are the cheap upgrade for D series rods but you need to have machine shop shave the small side I believe.
The pistons I am not sure when used it the Z6 motor but in the A6 D16A1 pistons raised comp pretty high.
I know there is a few sites were you can mix and match oem parts and get dissplacement and comp figures.
Search around or ask in the NA page, that is were I found the sites.

D16A1 rods are the same, but the pistons will raise compression.

So the LS rods are the same length as the D16 rods? Arn't the small ends a larger diameter on the B series rods?
