or which one works better? Meguiars Clay bar or mothers?

 

I used Meguiars,it worked great for me.Have not tried Mothers

 

I like Meguirs also, but I haven't tried the clay bar yet. Be very careful that your car is very clean when you use the bar. Good luck!

good call...reason i asked, mothers is like double the cost of meguiars..

 

Actually, they are not the exact same thing. They are both claybars, but have different compositions. The Meguiars claybar is a little more potent than the Mother's when it comes to removing contaminants, but leaves clay residue much easier than the Mother's bar. Save yourself a major headache and get the Mother's bar.

heheh....who needs a driveway when you have a front yard?

 

That was with 1 coat of Z5 which helps remove some swirls and fine sratches. Didnt even put on any Z2 which is the actual polish that makes it shine, looks wet, etc.

I used Meguires before, Zymbol, LiquidGlass stuff and others but Zaino works the best on black cars.

This is with the Mothers claybar kit. Paint is about 4 years old.
