Yes Blink the only part is a SPOON HG, Hey 90Accord1, the entire motor was assembeled by SPOON, The only place that might be a better place to have your engine built would be TODA or Honda. You are buying quality when you buy SPOON... You could call it a gs-r for all I care, the bottom line this motor was built by the best of the best!

Show me one SPOON motor that is cheaper than this one and I remove the post...
If not than I do believe this engine is cheap. If you were to buy it from Spoon it would cost $3900.00 + 300-500 for shipping from Japan... This motor is located in the tri-state area, so shipping cost are cheaper...

For all those ignorant people, that is a spoon assembled and balanced motor. All stock parts but they motor is assembled by spoon,, blue printed and balanced and torqued according to Spoon Spec. It's good reving up to 9000RPM. It produces around 176 whp. Considering it's just using all stock parts, that's very impressive. A stock USDM B18C5 only generates 160 on average with the same parts except for the pistons and gaskets. Last time I asked an online store the cost of that motor and they quoted me 4210 or something. So, I would say anything below 4000 is a good deal.
Go to Spoon web site to see the spec.

The only people that are skeptical, is the people who don't know me.. There are a bunch of H-Tech members that know I don't beat around the bush when it comes to Honda Parts!!! In the past year I have sold 5 of these motors and not one has had a problems!!!
would you people quit hassling him, if you dont want the motor then dont buy it, if spoon isnt ur thing then go look elsewhere but no need to give the guy flack over it
yup. spoon engine is just a reworked ITR engine. its just rebuilt, balancced, polished, and honed to race specifications. its a good deal i guess. but just wondering, how long is the average lifespan of a spoon engine?? i heard it was real short. intended for a couple of races only.

after a few races that the motor should be rebuilt.. that is if you are driving it with every shift around 9000rpm's However, I have seen these motors in daily drivers and they hold up fine. Thinking of putting one of these in my integra as a daily driver
