Not worth Converting.
Just sell the car and buy TYPE s.

An easier method, is to just find someone that wants to change their 5spd into an automatic. (That's probably a lot more common than your case). Then just swap the trannie's and he can pay you some extra dough since auto's more expensive, then your *** is all set.

if your definite on doin that, you're best bet is to buy a K20A3 from an EP3 owner, cause alot of them are probably selling them.

i wont convert it. sell it and then add a lil cash to buy a new type s. even if u convert the base rsx to manual it still will be slow as crap. no vtec...and its not even 200 hp . i would sell it and then buy a type s.

ok i'm pulling my bullsh*t meter out.... the K20A3 engine in the base RSX is vtec engine, just not the same as the type-s... where do people come up with this stuff... a base rsx has almost the same amount of hp as a GSR had, so its not a bad vehicle. "Dis" that vehicle somewhere else...
