Default Re: harness (Qikcivic)

If you're held upright in your seat by a harness, and the car rolls over, your head is the rollbar. You can't duck in a harness. alot of people autoX with harnesses, or even drive them on the street...your chances of a rollover in these conditions are slim, but anything can happen, and fortune favors the prepared mind. At a track, a harness without a rollbar is exponentially more foolish...but you're better off not being a fool at all: if you're gonna wear a harness, do it right. You wouldn't race on a wheel with only one lugnut...best to have the complete setup.
