I need an extra remote...where can i get one and someone program it to work? radio shack?

 

Slow down , before you hurt yourself.
1st we need to know what kind of alarm you have, most alarms are pretty brand specific about their remotes, i'm not sure of any remote that is universal.
Once you are sure of the brand of alarm, call around to your local car audio shops to find out which one sells that brand of alarm, they should carry spare remotes AND be able to program it to your alarm.

 

Chances are you can't buy a generic "code learning" alarm because if your alarm is any good it will be a rolling code model with 10 million codes or more. You'll probably have to buy the same brand as your alarm, shop around for prices.

 

hi, thanks for replying,.. I need an extra keyless remote for prestige 990 series city tuff. The pager is fine but the little remote isn't working. where can i find a spare one? If I order it from the manufacture(with the code and stuffs), do I still need to program it?

you should still be able to get them from circuit city... but hurry. Circuit City is dropping both the audiovox prestiege line and also all of DEI's lines... they are picking up some crap brand instead (claiming DEI upped the cost too much this year for Circuit City to justify carrying them... even though they kick ***)
