How does the gear dependant boost control work? How does it hook up? I just don't understand how the unit itself, understands what gear your in.

BTW, Does anyone know if Apexi is going to update the look of the AVCR just like they did with the AFC's?

 

It determines the gear based upon speed and rpm. You hook it in parallel with the VSS and tach signal wires.
