a few questions
I have just got done doing a mini-me swap and after driving it, it feels that the rev-limiter needs to be higher. The stock 89 Civic Si rev-limiter seems too low at 6800. I'm pretty sure that a 86-89 Integra has a higher rev-limiter like 7000-7200. Does anyone know if the ECU from a 86-89 integra will plug into a 89 Civic Si? I think it will, but I'm not sure. Also if it does, do you think the car will run good? I also have a Fields SFC-vtec controller and A/F meter so I could tune the ECU.
One more question.... The clutch in my car is on its last leg. I want to upgrade to a aftermarket clutch. What brand mades some good clutches? and how much do they cost? Thanks.

Post your findings if you do try out the Integra ECU, I have a d16y8 in my CRX and was wondering whether I should use the Integra ECU or chipping my Si ECU (hondata).
I'm not mistaken. I've hit the rev-limiter quite a few times since the mini-me swap. The D16A6 motor redlines 6500rpms stock. There is no way that the rev-limiter is 7500rpms. I have also hit the rev-limiter before I did the swap. It has always kicked in at about 6800-6900rpms. Sounds like you have a different ECU in your car. It might be a ZC ECU.
The fuel cut on a d16a6 is 7200rpms. Please realise that your stock tach is not accurate at high rpms. Hence aftermarket tachs and vtec controllers that display rpms. Also, the rev limit when the engine is cold is lower, than after it has warmed up.
