wat color is it? and brand? i know for sure 96+ are showa radiators, and it is somewhat bronzy/brown color in the middle or the core or something like that. but for some reason no one seems to know what color the 94-95 ones are. please lemme know, i am about to buy one from a guy he says its off a 94 but he says its all black. just want to make sure i am actually getting a GSR and not something else. thanks!!

I dont think color is very important but the brand is. GS-Rs use showa radiators. LS integras use denso. The only difference between the two is the clips where the raditator fan go. I just changed my radiator yesterday thats why I know..

 

exactly!!! so what you are saying is that all GSR radiators are showa for sure?? and that the 94-95 are black but the 96+ are different color?

 

I recently replaced the radiator on my '94 GS-R and it was a Showa and the core is aluminum, therefore the color is silver.

 

I have a 2000 gsr and I have a Denso radiator.

 

I honestly have no idea what color my radiator is.

I never really spent the time looking, I know it is there and that it is working

 

 

Mine's a Showa, brown on top.

 

My 96 LS had a showa, with a brown plastic top that commited suicide at about 90k.
